• Change all UIDs to values larger than 1000, and insert a new group for all AIT members (right now there is a dangerous overlap between SuSE-Linux pre installed groups and OSF).
• install tcp-wrappers and tripwire on all machines. Do not trust the firewall so much.

• Recompile ksh on OSF
• Find cause for ncftp not working on OSF 5.0
• Re-Install MySQL
• crontab to check for .netscape subdirectories that are too large.
• enforce /scratch/daily
• update /etc/hosts
• install big-brother
