New emacs mode: RefTeX. Helps finding references and inserting them in TeX documents. Needs AucTeX to work. email me for instructions on how to use it.

Installed MIDAS, release 96NOVpl1.0 on AIT/OSF-Machines.

Added a DAT-Drive to AITOS2. Is device /dev/(n)rmt6h. Save files with

tar c6v <filename>

and restore with

tar x6v

(the 6 is the device-number).

Installed new 9GB disk on AITOS3. Will be mainly used for RXTE data analysis of LMC X-1 and X-3 (is /usr/local/xte/xte2).

xsimbad 1.10 installed on OSF, Ultrix, and HP-UX. Doesn't run on Solaris because the X-libraries are (still) missing.
