Abstract. We reinvestigate the UV spectrum of NGC 1535 by means of recently developed fully line-blanketed non-LTE models. These new models account for the wind in spherical geometry while handling the atomic data very similar to the TLUSTY code. This ensures realistic spectra of photospheric absorption lines and of emission lines formed in the wind at the same time. Our analysis confirms the results of previous studies. We derive T* = 70 kK, log M-dot = -7.8Msun/yr and vinf = 2000 km/s.
