Abstract. We present preliminary results of a RXTE observation taken shortly after the end of the anomalous low-state (ALS) of Her X-1 in 2000 December.
The observation consists of 48 different individual pointings 1 ks and 8 ks long. Pulse phase resolved spectra from HEXTE are presented with special attention to the parameters of the cyclotron line at different pulse phases.
Key words: X-rays: stars - stars: individual: Her X-1
