Hydrogen+Helium NLTE Models

In the framework of the Virtual Observatory, the GAVO project provides theoretical spectral energy distributions (SEDs) of TMAP NLTE model atmospheres within the GAVO TheoSSA service. All SEDs from this model-atmosphere grid are available in a VO-compliant form within TheoSSA.

These synthetic spectra were calculated from an extented atmosphere grid of H+He composed models with H/He abundance ratios of 109:1, 9:1, 8:2, 7:3, 6:4, 5:5, 4:6, 3:7, 2:8, 1:9, 1:109 by mass.

The files' names are encoded
TTTTTTT_G.GG_H+He_X.XXX_Y.YYY_LLLLL-UUUUUA.

The tables have the following contents:

ionizing flux NLTE model atmosphere fluxes (5 - 2000Å) calculated for the use with the photoionization code CLOUDY. The flux is binned to 0.1Å intervals. In all files the effective temperature calculated from the integrated flux is given. The flux may be normalized to the correct effective temperature.
These flux tables not suitable for precise spectral analyses because only approximate formulae were used in order to account for Stark line broadening!

The relative fluxes were calculated using Stark broadening tables of Lemke (1997, A&AS, 122, 285), Barnard et al. (1974, JQSRT, 14, 1025), and Schöning & Butler (1989, A&AS, 78, 51) for H I, He I, and He II line broadening, respectively. They are suitable for spectral analyses.
