Social Events


During this conference there are several events in Tübingen, e.g.:

On Sunday (September 16) afternoon (4:30 pm) a free guided tour (in english, about 2 hours, starting at the Bürger- und Verkehrsverein (right map at the bottom, marked by "i", directly at the Neckar bridge) will give some information about the history of the city (this link is in german only).

On Sunday (September 16) evening (6:30 pm) there will be a free informal gathering (incl. registration) at the Casino am Neckar which can be found in quadrant 3E here.

On Monday (September 17) evening (6:00 pm) there will be a free reception at the Institut für Astronomie und Astrophysik (IAAT). Our institute is in quadrant 1D in this map.

On Wednesday (September 19) afternoon (2:00 pm - 11:00 pm) there will be an organized trip ins Ländle which includes a visit to the Schloß Sigmaringen and the conference dinner at the Stausee-Restaurant Waldschenke (link in german only) at Schömberg (link in german only).
